Hello Fellow Owners:
My name is Olin Kropog and I have been an owner since 2009 and board member of some kind since 2014. I reflect back on the early years when there were a couple of cars in the entire Enclave. Those days were quiet with the economic meltdown due to the housing crisis then the BP spill. My family enjoyed those days BUT now we have a full house and times are better.
People come and go for various reasons and while some are dissatisfied I believe OUR sense of community and fellowship are the REASON we love The Enclave. I know there are groups that get close and others may not but that is natural with humans. We gravitate to those we like and bond with for many reasons. I am not there enough to know everyone's names BUT I personally try to say hello to everyone I see. We are a community of of people as different as most if we consider our speech, hair color, skin color, heritage, religion or any other situation that makes us different.
When I pull into The Enclave, usually late at night, I am very excited to see my fellow owners by the fire or pool or just walking around. I would hope that others would be glad to see me as well. People make ANY AND ALL organizations work. Early in my business career I did. I believe this but believe capital and money made the company.
I LEARNED that great people in a bad system will succeed and likewise bad people in a good system will fail. I believe that we should all try to consider our Enclave as a system of good people. I think having more gathering at the fire and inviting as many people as possible would enhance our community, more events in the club house where everyone is invited , and pool parties that are exclusive of everyone. The more we build our sense of community the better we will build our Enclave pride and feel part of something bigger than our selves.
I ask you to reach out to someone you see and don’t talk to, reach out to someone that you may have had an altercation with and mend the bridge.
We are building back from the Hurricane Sally damage. Sorry for the delay but we want our damages repaired properly and working with insurance company’s can take time on a hurricane of this size. I had several damaged properties during Katrina. Your board is good and so is the management team. We will fix the assets but our people are our GOLD. I implore everyone to treasure each other, it will make the community what we want. PEOPLE ARE OUR REAL ASSET LETS TREAT EVERYONE LIKE GOLD.
