The Gulf Shores Recreation Department is hosting a Women’s Self Defense series for women ages 12 and up. Classes will include techniques to defend yourself at home and in public, training by Out of Sight Outfitters, understanding and handling a firearm by Gulf Shores Police, and more!

Join us for these upcoming dates:
Class 1 - October 2
Class 2 - November 6
Class 3 - December 4

Classes are from 5 - 7pm at the Cultural Center, located at 19470 Oak Road West

The Gulf Coast Arts Alliance (GCAA) Art Market, in partnership with the City of Gulf Shores, is held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Art Market features original art by local and regional artists and has grown to be a favorite day-long event for locals and tourists.

Christmas cards, ornaments and all things Christmas at the GCAA Gallery.  We will coordinate with other business on the Open House Trail and will be serving light refreshments all day.
