12th Annual Oyster Cook-Off Craft Spirits & Beer Weekend at The Hangout

Craft Beer Festival will be held Friday, November 1 from 6 -11 p.m.
Enjoy tastings of dozens of craft beers and live music. The all-inclusive ticket includes samples from all of our craft brewers and live entertainment all night long. 75th Anniversary Commemoration of the WWII Battle Of Peleliu (2)

On November 1-2, living historians from all over the country and Japan will be at Fort Morgan to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Peleliu, which took place in the Pacific Theater of Operations during WWII.
From September to November of 1944, US Marines of the 1st Marine Division, Soldiers of the Army’s 81st Infantry Division, along with Navy Seabees fought to take the small island of Peleliu, in the Palau Islands, from the Japanese. Part of Admiral Nimitz Island Hopping

Join Gulf Shores United Methodist Church Mother’s Day Out and Pre-school on Saturday, November 2 from 9am - 3pm for its 11th annual fundraiser, The Harvest - A Festival of Gifts, at GSUMC's south campus behind Zaxby’s.
Proceeds from The Harvest will benefit the Mother’s Day Out and Preschool scholarship fund. Admission is free and the first 200 guests will receive a free shopping bag.

The Gulf Shores Recreation Department is hosting a Women’s Self Defense series for women ages 12 and up. Classes will include techniques to defend yourself at home and in public, training by Out of Sight Outfitters, understanding and handling a firearm by Gulf Shores Police, and more!
