The Board of Directors and Property Manager met with Trey Steber from Kone on Tuesday, July 2nd, regarding future elevator replacements.  Considering maintenance records and entrapments, Buildings G and E were selected as the next two elevators to be replaced.  Trey informed us that, as of January 2025, building codes were changing for elevator installation and that would increase the price significantly.  By signing a contract to replace one 3-story and one 4-story elevator by December, the Association will save almost $33,000 total. The current plan is to sign a contract soon to replace Buildings G and E.

The plan is to replace Building G E first, hopefully starting in January.  Soon after Building G E is complete, the replacement for Building E G should begin.  Owners should plan for the elevators to be out of service for around 6-8 weeks, for replacement. Building D took a little longer and Building F took a bit less.

The elevator replacements are being paid for from our reserve funds, so there are no plans for a special assessment to pay for these two elevators.
