The Enclave at Oak Hill Condominium Owners' Association
Website Upgraded
- Written by: Administrator
Our website has been upgraded to a newer version of the Joomla Content Management System (CMS). The older version is no longer supported by its' developers.
On June 1, 2023, the CMS was upgraded to the latest version. This latest version of this CMS has been optimized for speed and performance and improved scalability. This CMS has better user authentication and authorization systems. Joomla makes it easier for search engines to find websites and index them. Some of the features of our previous CMS are no longer available due to non-support by the vendor. A couple of these no-supported features are the "mini-calendars" which were located in the right column of our home page. Our webmasters (James Borders and Tim Brown) worked on customizing our site for nearly ten months.
Green Giant Tree Buffer
- Written by: Administrator
By now, if you have driven in or out of The Enclave, you have seen the new trees lined up between the Clubhouse and the front gate. This is a voluntary project suggested by numerous owners. These are fast maturing trees and after the root system takes hold in around a year, they are expected to grow 3-5 feet a year until maturity. Once mature these trees will be over 15 feet wide and approximately 30 feet tall. The trees will provide a visual buffer between The Enclave and the apartments to the north and bring back some privacy to our property.
These trees are not being paid for by your association but are being paid for by donations from individual owners. Anyone that would like to be part of the supporting team and make a contribution can make checks payable to The Enclave at Oak Hill Condominium Association, with a memo of Green Giant Tree Buffer. You can either take the check by their office or mail to St. Johns Business Services at P.O. Box 2759, Gulf Shores AL 36547. Some owners have donated $125 to $150. Any donation amount will be appreciated.
Any person donating to this project will be recognized at the Owners’ Meeting in February.
Two-Step Verification (2SV) Available Now

Beginning today (03/02/2022), registered users of The Enclave at Oak Hill's website will have the opportunity to more securely log onto the website by using two-step verification (2SV). What does this mean? After logging in with just your UserID and password you will be asked to provide your second step verification. Until you provide a correct second step verification you will not be able to access any Owner specific pages on the site or actually login. You will always be redirected to the "captive login" page. This is very much like what Google does when you try to login to GMail.
The first time you login, you will be given four choices: 1. Don't use 2SV; 2. Use an Authenticator App; 3. Use a YubiKey; or 4. Use Email.
This added security has been accomplished by implementing Akeeba LoginGuard. A few of the advantages of Two-Step Verification with LoginGuard are:
